Mercedes GP launch new W01 car in Valencia

01 February 2010 @ 08:10 GMT - Max Moore The Mercedes GP team launched its new W01 in the Valencia pit lane on Monday morning. The team will test alongside most of the F1 teams today. The colour scheme and team was launched in Stuttgart last week, but the new car was only launched this morning. They showed off the car they hope will take seven times world champion Michael Schumacher to his 8th title. The car features a new radical version of the Red Bull Racing RB5 type V-nose configuration as well as a small fin on the engine cover. Nico Rosberg will give the car its initial shakedown this morning and Schumacher will drive it late in the day.
