Massa test new helmet

Moore Ferrari's Felipe Massa is in action again at Valencia in Spain today and tested a new Schubert concept helmet. The helmet was black with no livery on it. Massa was almost killed in the horrific accident during the qualifying session for the 2009 Hungarian grand prix. His helmet suffered a severe blow and Massa suffered from a cracked skull. In an effort to make the helmets stronger the manufacturer has developed several new ones. Massa is testing one of them today, but the actual impact protection will obviously not be tested. |
