Ferrari's Fernando
Alonso reckons the Red Bull Racing team is the favourites to win
Sunday's Bahrain grand prix. The Spanish driver makes his debut for
the Italian squad this season.
"I think Red
Bull were a little bit ahead at the last test," Alonso said.
Some of the other drivers have said that Alonso is the favourite to
win. The Bahrain track is an unusual track and Alonso feels it would
be hard to predict a winner.
Alonso also feels
that the racing will be close this season. "There will be four
or five drivers in the fight. I'd like to know who it will be,"
he said. The double world champion says he won't be disappointed if
he fails to win the title this season.
"This is
sport, not everything is two plus two. Winning a world championship
is not a logical thing and it would not be a disappointment, even if
we will work hard so that we do not disappoint our fans," he said. |
