Red Bull Racing's
Sebastian Vettel has the habit of naming his F1 cars. His 2008 Toro
Rosso was called Julie and his 2009 Red Bull was first called Kate
and later Kate's Dirty Sister.
The German will
call his new RB6 for the 2010 F1 season Luscious Liz. Vettel came
close to winning the 2009 F1 title and could have won if his car was
more reliable and if the car was fitted with a double diffuser from
the start of the season.
The names are
always displayed on the dashboard and are one of his superstitions.
He also enters and exist the car on the left hand side and slides a
lucky coin behind the lace of his boot.
"If I could
design a superstar, Sebastian would be the result," F1's
commercial rights holder Bernie Ecclestone told a German newspaper.
"He is
exactly what Formula One needs: a young, super-talented driver who is
intelligent but not arrogant, popular with the public and good with
the media, normal but still very professional," he said.
