Kobayashi happy to have de la Rosa as his teammate

10 March 2010 @ 06:00 GMT - Charles Cooper Kamui Kobayashi is getting along very well with his new teammate Pedro de la Rosa. The two had dinner a few times last year, but did not know that they would be teammate this season. "Pedro is a good team mate. It's funny because last year we went out for dinner together a few times, when there were no plans that we would team up together. Now that we are team mates it works very well," he said. It will be the Japanese driver's first full year in the sport and he is looking forward to the season with the Sauber team. He says de la Rosa interacts very well with the team. "We both communicate very well together and he is also a driver that can interact with the team very well," he said. "I am really happy to have him as my team mate. He has a lot of experience, but it is not that alone - he is a very nice guy. We sit down and talk with the team about our experiences in the car. With so little testing you have to share all the information if you want to bring the team forward," he said. |
