The teams are
already busy in the Bahrain paddock and Force India says their pit
garage is between Toro Rosso and Renault. The team is in high spirits
ahead of the first race which will take place this Sunday.
"It's a
shorter walk up the paddock this year and we're between Toro Rosso
and Renault, things are looking up," the team said. The outfit's
team boss Dr Vijay Mallya says the pre-season testing has been very encouraging.
But he says it's
very difficult to know where they are and he feels that they will
only know in Bahrain. "I have been very encouraged by the entire
performance, both at the track and at the factory. The testing times
gave very positive headlines, but it is very difficult to know where
we are until we get to Bahrain," he said.
"Certainly
however the initial reports from the drivers are encouraging and when
that happens it's worth another three to four tenths - if they feel
happy and confident in the car then that they can really attack,"
he said. |
