Mercedes GP's
title sponsor Petronas has increased its stake in F1 by entering into
a partnership with US television network ESPN Star Sports (ESS) to
support the broadcast of the 2010 F1 season. The new season kicks off
this weekend in Bahrain.
"In line with
our marketing strategies for 2010, this tie-up is the perfect
platform for our brand to further expand the business locally and
especially on a global level whilst exhibiting our passion and
interest towards world-class motorsports which matches that of our
partner, ESS," Anita Azrina Abd Aziz, general manager for
Petronas Motorsports, said.
ESS will provide
extensive live coverage of the upcoming F1 season's 19 races across
its television, online and mobile platforms. ESPN HD will also cover
the races. |
